Students new to the classroom or returning after years of business practice can often be surprised by the differences between communicating in an academic environment versus your everyday experiences.
Whether interacting online or in person, with a TA, Professor, or fellow classmate from around the world, it can seem challenging to get your message across. In this session, you will learn to more effectively interact with faculty, how to effectively communicate in and out of the classroom with fellow students, and you will gain insights into your communication style and how to use it in an academic setting.
