Power is one of the most talked about and yet most misunderstood topics in our society. Without understanding power, one can not build it, let alone use it effectively or wisely. This session will lift the veil on power, reveal what it is and how it works, in order to unleash the potential for all to build and use power to effect change at work, at home, and in society. Unleashing this potential is particularly urgent today as we confront a multidimensional crisis that is not only a healthcare crisis, but also a social and economic crisis of inequality and an environmental crisis. If we want to create change, the first step is to equip those who are trying to push for change with the necessary understanding of what power is and how it works.
