He joined the U.N. in June 1985, through the U.N. National Competitive Examination in Economics and served with the U.N. Office on Drugs and Crime in Vienna, Austria from 1985 to 2004.
Prior to his international engagement, he worked in the St. Lucia Ministries of Finance and Foreign Affairs from 1978 to 1985. Curtis is a seasoned political analyst with extensive experience in political outreach, facilitation, analysis, advice and reporting.
