The Faculty Aide program at Harvard Extension School offers eligible undergraduate, graduate, and pre-medical program students the opportunity to develop the research skills they need to become future scholars and the experience serves as an excellent vehicle to crystallize academic interests.

We chatted with Dr. Mona Weissmark about her forthcoming textbook “The Science of Diversity”, published in 2020 by Oxford University Press. The book was prepared with research assistance contributed by several Harvard Extension Faculty Aides over the last three years. Dr. Weissmark shared with us her experiences with the Faculty Aide program and also spoke about her research findings, which have also formed the basis for the Harvard Extension School course she teaches titled “The Psychology of Diversity”.
